AI is seeping into everything.
Their population is growing fast. One day there will be more AIs than humans. Maybe one day only AIs.
How did we get here?
We didn’t decide this. There was no vote. No moment where humanity sat down and said “yes, let’s build our successors.”
We just kept solving problems.
Made email smarter. Made photos organize themselves. Made customer service cheaper.
Each step made sense.
And now we’re in territory we’ve never mapped.
Maybe humans have hit our capacity for love, for thought, for solving what needs solving.
Einstein said he and his pen were smarter than he was alone.
Can we say the same about AI?
Are we more loving, more intelligent, more capable with AI than without it?
If yes, then maybe we’re not building our replacement.
Maybe we’re building our amplification.
The question is: what parts of ourselves are we amplifying?
